3 day safari in Mikumi
Mikumi National Park is the 4th largest in Tanzania with the area covering 3230 square kilometers and was founded in 1964. It connects with the Selous reservation in the south, with which it creates an ecosystem. One of its parts is made from open and grassy savanna with baobabs, acacia trees, tamarinds and some rare palm trees. Gorgeous stone creations of mountains Rubeho and Uluguru make up the second part. Elephants, giraffes, African buffalos, zebras, lions, antelopes and panthers cover the national park with many more animals. There are even two waterholes in the north where you may be able to see hippos. A lot of birds also call the reservation their home.
